Question:
Hello, all you creative people!I found an old window and attached frame molding on it to create a glass coffee table with 3 inch around the top to frame out the window. I am looking for creative ideas for “legs”. I didn’t want to put on traditional legs but want to place something/s under the window to make it a focal point. I am not stuck in a certain design theme as I have a variety of places to put it. So all ideas would be appreciated. I can also add extra embellishments at top since it is in it’s base state. Thanks for any suggestions.
Answer:
I’ve got some ideas for you:
1. I made a coffee table from a window and a vanity bench. I turned the bench upside down and got a piece of plexiglass the size of the window so I could put “things” in the window openings. You can see pictures here:

2. You could lay the window on top of a “container” filled with anything you love. Containers could be a barrel, bucket, terracotta pot, glass bowl, umbrella stand, basket - you get the idea.
3. You could stack books at the four corners for your legs.
Hope that helps.
