Full question:
I want to put a white dry erase board for homeschooling on our kitchen/dining wall, but think I will have to trim it out and put shutters on it or something. Ideas for that appreciated too.
My answer:
Shutters on hinges would look great. Close the shutters over the board when not in use. Put stuff in the slots of the shutters to make it a decorative accent for your wall - postcards, photos, cards, seed packs. Or hang pictures from the shutters. I hinged three shutters together in my kitchen to make a folding screen. On the “kitchen” side of the shutters, I hung cast iron muffin pans off drapery hooks tucked down inside the shutter slats. On the “dining room” side I hung art off those same drapery hooks.
