Full question:
I have a french country kitchen, I have repainted old cabinets, opened up the wall to expose the chimney, put the original potbelly stove in front of bricks, it looks good but the fridge -yuck! I thought of building a cabinet around it but thats done by everybody. I want something unique.
My question:
Oh, I saw something that I think would be just PERFECT for you. I saw a frig door and side covered in barn siding, and I saw another one that had been covered with painted shutters. The “woods” were actually GLUED to the frig door, top and side. I have that on my list of things to do to my kitchen - I thought it was so unique.
I also came across another great idea today - paint the frig in chalkboard paint and use it as a message center. This was done in a guy’s apartment (not that that changes how great of an idea it is), and he used it fro grocery and other lists, as well as messages. I planned out a party on it and kept himself very organized.
