Full question:
I have a small animal cage. Can it be used for something besides a cage?
My answer:
Well, *I* would use it in any of the following ways:
1. I am an avid gardener so I would take the top off and use the rest to start a compost pile. The top I would stand on end in an area where I wanted vines to grow - either vegetables, like snow peas or cucumbers, or flowers like sunflower vine or morning glories.
2. I’d also fill the cage with large seashells and driftwood, put a glass, wood or metal tray top on it and use it as a coffee table.
3. I’d fill it with live plants in pots. My cage like that has a plastic tray in it, which I would leave in to catch watering overflow. I’d cover that with a glass top and use it as a coffee table. I have pets but no little kids. So I’d make sure the plants were not poisonous, since my cats love to eat plants. Anyone with pets and/or kids would have to take that into consideration, too.
