Full question:
I have read alot of the information on painting a bathroom vanity. The vanity top is in great condition, it just needs new fixtures. But the drawers are a mess and so is the area under the sink. I don’t think using just shelf paper would help it. Any ideas on that?
My answer:
I saw a bathroom where the drawers were taken out altogether and wood was added to make the space shelves instead. This looked GREAT! I have it as something I’d like to do.
Painting the inside is fairly easy or staining it if it’s a wood texture. Then seal the paint or stain with a clear acrylic paint which can be sprayed on or brushed on. Let it dry completely before you fill up the shelves, (to avoid nicks or scratches).
