Full question:
For my birthday earlier this year my daughter and son-in-law bought me a digital camera and printer. I take the camera everywhere I go and take so many pictures. I just don’t know what to do with all these photos. I am looking for some ideas. I would like some way to share them with my family and friends and also display the ones I love so much through out my home.
My answer:
Here are some photo display ideas (besides standard framing or using photo wire wands) that may help you put pictures out using things that you already have around your house:
* You can print out photos on light weight paper and then slightly curl the photos around a pencil. You can then put them inside empty ball jars, or clear glass bottles, or clear glasses sitting on a hutch.
* You can cut out pictures to fit inside the center of plates hanging on your wall.
* You can get a copy machine transfer kit and make photo copies that you could add to pillows or other house linens.
* I took a muffin tin and hung it on the wall with a photo in each opening. A picture of this one is here.
* This past weekend I finished making photo magnets as a gift for my mother. I am not wild about magnets myself, but she likes them. These are pictures of some of her grandkids - she is getting a set of all thirteen of them for Christmas.
