I need ideas for hanging stockings with no fireplace.

Full question:
I am in a new (to me) house this year and have no good place to hang our stockings. There is no fireplace and not a real good place that I see to hang them. Ideas?
My answer:
There were a couple of things that struck me when I saw your pictures:
1. You could hang one in each window. You have short window treatments, amd they could be hung in the windows, either off fishing line wrapped around your curtain rod or off suctions (the big ones) or if you don’t mind, off small nails off the window frame.
2. You could do something similar (I think) on the french doors you have.
3. I don’t know if you have a second floor - probably not, since putting them on the railing would have probably been something you would have thought of.
4. You could hang them on the backs of the diningroom chairs where each person sits.
5. I just saw that short little wall thing next to the chair. First I thought it was a wall. Then I thought it was a gate. If it is stationary enough, you could hang them there.
