Full question:

We are converting our den into a family area:

Big screen, toddlers train table, fold out loveseat w/ dark chambray slip cover, navy bins, lime bins, navy bean bags. I will set up 2, 8 ft tables for pc, crafts, girl scout stuff – there will be drawers beneath these.

I have som retro Mickey Mouse fabric to make into pillows (cream, navy, lime, coral, light blue)

On the 8 foot tables I want to create “skirts” to velcro around the perimeter to make storage beneath the tables – what color & print would look best? I think I need to stop w/ the navy & lime would be too much – any other ideas?

There will be 5 framed poster art on walls along w/ a framed collection of Disney music sheets – so far those & my pillows are my only Disney things.

My answer:

Do you want the fabric to blend into the wall or stand out as an accent. If blend in, then whatever color the wall is. If to stand out, the colors you are now working with that don’t sound like they are over represented are cream and light blue.

If using cream, you could propbably get a muslin in that color and maybe cut some of the Disney designs from your pillow fabric and iron them on with fusible webbing.
