Full question:
I need help. I have a guest bedroom that we also use as a home office and I have no idea how to decorate it. I want to pick out a paint color that is stimulating for work but also soothing for the occasional overnight guest. Any suggestions?
I have a daybed and desk in the room and a few other pieces of furniture that I am going to get rid of because there is too much going on in the room. If anyone has any suggestions of websites that offer home office/guest room decorating ideas please post them for me.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
My answer:
Although color is a very personal choice, when thinking “office” and “guest room”, neutral, quiet colors are never “too much” for working in or for guests staying in. Soft shades of blue, butter yellow, light sage green - all would work for visitors. Studies have shown that blue increases productivity so that would be a great choice for “office”.

Dear Folk!
How you have made Christmas?
You have brought a smile to my face all year long. … I never would have met such a fun, interesting group of people.
