Is wallpaper border easy to remove?

Full question:
I live in an apartment and would like to add a 15 inch wallpaper border at the top of the wall in the bathroom. I would like to know if border paper is easy to remove?
My answer:
It has been for me. If it didn’t peel off in one long strip, glue included (which lots of it has), anything left behind came off easily with a mix of 10 to 1 water to fabric softener.
