Full question:
Hey, I have been thinking about redecorating my room. Right now my room is a lime green. The color is called “carolina parakeet”. I don’t want to repaint my room right now but may eventually paint it a lighter blue. What are some colors that will work well for my bed and accents. I really like light blue and brown together but I don’t think it would work with my lime green walls. I also like light green and blue together but I feel like it could make my room look too young.
My answer:
VERY cool color. And you are right - blue and brown won’t work as well as other choices you could make.
The “color wheel choices for your lime green would be either: * Orange and purple (complimentary colors) * A darker shade and a lighter shade of green (monochromatic colors).

I am painting my studio light blue and light yellow. What color carpet goes well. I have beige and chocolate brown furniture? I’m thinking a brownish beige carpet?

That would work. So would a blue. The blue and brown color combination is really hot. And the blue may not show as much traffic as the beige. Just a thought.
