Where can I put my large entertainment center in my house?

Full question:I’m moving in to a new house and have a large entertainment center that will be hard to find a wall to stand against. I am considering putting it in front of my fireplace. Do you have any other suggestions?
My answer:
First, covering a fireplace would mean you can NEVER use it, and that should be a very LAST option, if an option at all. When working with some of these larger pieces, think about placing them AWAY from a wall, but in a place where they might FORM a wall. Like inside the front door. Can you stand it so that it faces into the livingroom so you can store all your entertainment “stuff” on it, and have it’s back face so that it forms a wall when you come in your front door?
If so, you can paint the back, wallpaper it or hang a quilt from it so that it looks like you have a small foyer. You can stand an entryway table against it, add a vase set on a small stack of books and maybe a mirror sitting on the table, and leaning against the back of the entertainment center. You could hang art, or photos from the back of the entertainment center (make sure you have the proper strength hangers for the weight of what you’re hanging.)
This could be a very cozy and creative way to keep your fireplace AND your entertainment center in the same room.
