Window treatments for a small room

Full question:
For a window treatment in a spare bedroom soon to be office, I am thinking of doing a valance over long sheers. I don’t want to make the room any more closed in than it is. What do you think?
My answer:
Long curtains of any kind may do just that. You may want to use just a valance. If privacy is a concern, there are ways to block the view with either stuff you sit on the window sill, if you have one, or peelable glass art, which I got online.
